Ideologies cross boundaries so a C# and Java/JavaScript simile would be pointless to a great degree; you would simply be directed to read the document as a general reference understanding that example content is illustrated using "C" simply. I got it for a general, ideological reference and although my C background is still within the novice range, felt that the concepts were easy enough to grasp. The book is about what you should do rather than what to do it with conceptually. Code Complete became on of my favs quickly. Smile | :)
