It's a bit dated, but I've been using this build for about 1 year now:

System Builder - Core i7-7820X 3.6 GHz 8-Core, GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6 GB Mini - PCPartPicker[^]

I use Linux for the main OS and VMWare for C, C++, C#, Java and database work on different operating systems. My only complaint is that the budget didn't allow for a 14-16 core CPU.

NP. The machine I built needed to be somewhat portable. Many years ago, I used Clevo/Sager based laptops for my needs, but I needed something with a little more power now, and the KB/Monitor/Mouse was available wherever I needed to set up, so a portable desktop works with those needs.

I'm playing my way through DOOM, and I'm trying to get all the challenges. Until the third level, when I have to Curb Stomp (jump on the heads of) monsters to get one. Does it work? No. Try, try, try. Fail, fail, fail. Swear. Reload. Try, try, try. Fail, ... you get the idea.

Until I relent, and search for help. And lo! Others have the same difficulty!

Ok, there is still room for improvement. There also are the T-51, the X-01 and the advanced Hellfire armor, but I still have to find them yet.

You can just set the media file to play on your phone to a noodle-slurping sound effect.

In fact, I think I'll do that anyway, and just play it without buying the fork (which, unlike me, is not compatible with Alexa).

That will really set the tone, when I'm eating chips or rice pudding.
