Huh, interesting. Normally I'm a single malt guy but I will have to give this one a try when I need a break from my latest distraction from my whisky, 1792 Full Proof Bourbon[^]... world's best two years running.

How does it compare to Pappy?

Full disclosure, I'm normally not a huge bourbon guy. That said, it is good but not AS good as Pappy. Not bad for half the price though, to be honest I doubt Pappy even competes in these things.

Neither am I, I'm personally mostly into rum and single malts.
But I've come to the conclusion that when you come above a certain quality level it doesn't matter so much any more what type of alcohol it is.
They're all interesting in their own way.
