I think we should implement a National Dial-Up-Modem Day in honor of the way we use to Internet! ISPs and DSN look-up engines could throttle back their speeds to the days of 56K modems. What say you? Who's on board?

If you really want to check how it feels to work on slow internet you can try it in Google Chrome. Open Developer Tools and set throttling from Network tab.

The National Septic Tank Day in honour of how we used to deal with sewage before modern sewage systems
and the ever popular National Septicemia Day in honour of the days before Penicillin.
