I was working a night club in Arizona in 1971 and he came to play so I got a chance to meet him. He played his popular stuff until about mid night then to the people that where left said, in words I don't exactly remember after this many years "...enough of this bullshit let's play some music..." and sat down on a chair for what seems like 2 hours and just jammed. Best blues I'd ever heard to that point and it got me hooked.

Saw a documentary about him some time ago where he was playing some blues, it was awesome. Aside from his relationship with Chess records, I did not know of his proclivity for the blues.

It just keeps getting better and better. My question is why did they give Dr. Kevorkian a hard time when the people is was helping were consenting adults. Maybe they should have worn combat boots and a helmet then the he wouldn't have got into so much trouble?
