I was working a night club in Arizona in 1971 and he came to play so I got a chance to meet him. He played his popular stuff until about mid night then to the people that where left said, in words I don't exactly remember after this many years "...enough of this bullshit let's play some music..." and sat down on a chair for what seems like 2 hours and just jammed. Best blues I'd ever heard to that point and it got me hooked.

Saw a documentary about him some time ago where he was playing some blues, it was awesome. Aside from his relationship with Chess records, I did not know of his proclivity for the blues.

This is really good news: CNBC "Mini-nukes and mosquito-like robot weapons being primed for future warfare" : [^].
How much better than the hospice-and-respirator-sink-to-oblivion would be getting a little hit of polonium from a near invisible flying nanobot, or experiencing yourself smithereening as a mini-nuke went off ?

It just keeps getting better and better. My question is why did they give Dr. Kevorkian a hard time when the people is was helping were consenting adults. Maybe they should have worn combat boots and a helmet then the he wouldn't have got into so much trouble?

Oh, they're talking about a pure fusion device. Something that's only been the holy grail of nuclear engineering since about 1950, and like fusion power has only been 30 years in the future since it was first proposed. And they're going to do it using a mechanism that currently requires a sportsball field worth of equipment and megajoules (gigajoules???) of input power to an enormous laser system to get a few joules of fusion out. 
At best this is clickbait drivel of the most wretched sort. At worst it's the sort of F*** N*** that various political idiots are beating each other to death over.

Is it really necessary to start on all the bottles you have collected on all your strange vacation locations but don't really like?

I have found that under those conditions, the code just works. Never try to understand how it works - you never will. Just accept that it does.

That's my experience as well.
Ok, the whole Balmer Peak thing may be a joke, but I've found that my programming is actually just a little bit better if I'm slightly sloshed (but not too much)
