Last saturday I had to go south towards Austria and guess what? All four (!) lanes of the highway are clogged up with vehicles from Mordor (you know: Yellow license plates, blue field with 'NL').
It takes really a small army to fill upn a highway with four lanes. An army of guys who don't have a clue about driving, but try to drive in cool formations across all lanes. And what are you all doing here? Don't you have work to do? Don't you have any mountains of your own? Must you really wear those wood shoes while driving?And let's not talk about that overwelming smell of cheese...

It was a simple cliche. If you want to take it as an absolute truth, go for it.
By the way, I upgraded 3 computers, 1 was a laptop, and not a single problem upgrading to the free win10. Therefore, look in the mirror and see the reason for your problems with win10.  Actually, to be serious for a moment, most of the problems upgrading have been because of drivers. Just saying.

Now that's true. I don't want them to snoop around on my hard drive and also don't want them to tell me what we are going to do with the computer at what time. And yes, they can also keep their 'crap store' and all the other little thingies.
Short: I don't want to be treated like a muggle, no stuff for muggles and no changes which make room for stuff for muggles. They want idiots for customers and that's what they are going to get in the long run.

Yes. It's not so smart to play along with 'take it or leave it'. They just will include more and more great ideas into that deal. There is really only one option: Leave it and let them think about what they might have done wrong.
It already worked with Weight, and that's exactly why they went a little overboard with the forced updates to Win 10. They obviously have not learned it yet.

It seems to me that Software is the only thing (or one of a few things maybe) where people think they own it and everything about it. For example, you take your pants exactly as they come. You just deal with how they are. Same thing with your car. You don't complain that the GPS sends data for feedback. You don't complain that the steering is not exactly as you want it, you just deal with it. You buy a banana at the store and if there is a small bruise, you don't take it back. You just deal with it. You "take it" with nearly everything in life. But software seems to get people near violent.
I just don't understand that kind of thinking.
