Here's a handicap; get this test case right:
float[] data = { 1E30f, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1 };
With a window of, say, 5. Doesn't really matter, just add more 1's if you want a bigger window.
What's the running average when the 1E30f leaves the window? Hopefully 1, but most implementations get this wrong.

Bugger! I hadn't spotted the "sliding window" requirement. 
I've updated my solution, and it does pass your test.

I stopped reading it a long time ago after, imho, it became a nest of narcissistic techno-savants too busy with flaunting their own grandiosity to write articles whose content interested me. I saw the word "meme" in it so many times, I developed a rash.

Actually, people have been time travelling since the stone age... Because I time traveled back from 2057 with a time machine and explained them how to use it. Not in our current timeline of course 
Too bad I never got to go back to the present because the software threw a NullReference exception
