Exactly. The Lounge has died, I mean why the f*** do we have to have daily CCC, MQOTD, thought of the day whatever.

More to the point if someone misses their turn why the f*** remind them?

The Lounge use to be good because of its spontaneity, you never knew what would be on there when you logged in. It use to be the first thing I did when I got to work. Now I even check Facebook before I come here. Somedays I dont even bother.

OK, also true some Aussies do use the lounge as their personal facebook, but luckily most visitors are smarter than that.

Here it is: the lounge is not supposed to be like facebook, and inasmuch shouldn't be compared with it.

OIOW: If facebook is your thing, then follow your own advice and "don't even bother" visiting the lounge.

My wife goes to Facebook and it plagued with game requests; we come to the lounge and are plagued with game requests hidden an 'OTD's or CCC's.

It seems to be related to your account because it does not work too with this post. I tried it also with two other posts by you (one in Bugs&Sugs and one in the forum of one of your articles).

There is already a thread in Bugs&Sugs.
