Yesterday, I got several emails claiming I should stop taking Viagra.
About an hour later, I got several emails claiming my wife wanted me to start taking Viagra.
I wish these scammers would get on the same freakin' page...

It's known as "cyclic product inducement " (CPI).
Another great example is getting people to buy expensive shampoos, which contain industrial-grade degreasers like alcohol and refined soaps, then making them buy "conditioner" to use afterward, and put the (very necessary) grease back.

I get the "overwhelming desire for more" bit, but the "Good grass creates" bit escapes me completely ... GREED and YEARN were the only five-letter words that fit, and GREED fit "nicer" so I went for it.

"Good grass == weed" I thought of - but getting from "WEED" to "creates an overwhelming desire for more" and "GREED" escapes me.

So my dad had a "sharp" PC in the eigthies. It didn't have a HD yet and you boothed by locking a 5.25" floppy disk in to drive A. You could use another floppy on drive B to work on.
This thing had a text editor where you had to move the cursor by pressing ctrl and a key combination. This was for moving up and down, put in edit mode, remove letters, words or lines etc ...
And today I accidently ran into VIM .
I knew this still exists and it is still used BY DEFAULT on linux systems. But really, nothing better than VIM? So I was looking into using nano instead and on the internet people seem to actually PREFER vim! Anyways, I was very happy to edit my crontab in nano instead.

I prefer Vim to EMACS because I find myself more comfortable in hitting a key, a string and enter than pressing long keyboard combinations, of difficult memorization.
nano is fairly good too but once used to Vim it loses appeal. Of course if you have the window manager started there are better alternatives, gedit is one of my favourite under Linux.
