Hi Andy,
I am trying to get in touch as I may have to start using Lab View for some stuff and from my brief play with the trial download it seems a little odd. It's one of these thing where the demo wouldn't let me do what I wanted to do with a serial port. Have a look at the post above. Please don't feel as if I want you to be a full wiki on the subject, at times it's useful to have a human to ask rather than Google.
