My "Resident Old Lady With a Laptop" had another problem this morning - her lappy screen had shrunk, lots. So I drive over there to find out why. Screen resolution changed - no longer her native 1360 x 768, it's shrunk to 1024 x 768, leave in two inch wide black bars right and left. And why is that? because it forced the Anniversary Edition update on her last night... 
Two minutes to diagnose and fix, 60 more minutes to get out of the building... 
Stop doing this MS! Please?

MS forced an update to the Missus' laptop yesterday. She doesn't have a lot of time in the evenings and had to pay some bills. Right in the middle of it, the update started and presto, she couldn't use it for the rest of the evening... 
Guess who was not a happy camper?
WHAT? Lend her mine? Never, ever! She likes installing all kinds of crapware (guess who has to clean it up btw!). No way I'm gonna let her near my computer. If I want crap installed, I'll do it myself, thank you very much!

I am confused, Pete, how are expensive motor cars like "cocktail" ? For me, "Grand Tour," refers to the custom of English hi-sos (like Byron) traveling extensively in Europe; I am not familiar with the TV series cited.
It's not too hot, and not too cool, here, under my rock.
