Hi Marc,
I'm fine, thankee; I am in peaceful Chiang Mai, in the north, a long way from where the current trouble is. Of course it disturbs me to see the tragic news about the bombings. Like most long-term expats here, I avoid speculation about Thai politics, and hope for the best for the future of the Thai people who I genuinely like, and for their unique culture which was never subjugated by a western colonial power.
Thailand remains a "Land of Smiles" for me, and I think I can say that free of any naive idealization.
It is Mother's Day here, today, H.M. the Queen's Birthday.

So the week after next I will be back in Mexico interviewing candidates to take over from my current minions. First time I've done interviews, let alone in a different Country with people who speak a different language, so any tips pointers would be much appreciated.
There are two vacancies and four candidates have made it through to the 2nd interview stage that I will be conducting. Interestingly two of those candidates are a Father and Son!

But you'll think the father is doing all the work, but it's actually his super-smart son doing the work, but the son knows no-one would employ him given his age. So he has to hide in the cupboard when the boss comes around, with hilarious antics resulting.
