So everyone agrees with the "male bird" comment*.

I really like the idea of being able to walk around and see an "adjusted" version of your surroundings, though, along with all the little tweaks and info-points that can be added.

Google glasses need not apply -- I want to see what genuinely creative people can do with it.

* For US-ians who don't watch English shows: a "bird" is a young lady

A mate of mine plays it. I like the technology, and actually look forward to what else will be done with it. He's taken to letting his girlfriend drive, just to watch his sprite zoom about like a nutter.

I'm not into dog-fighting or c**k-fighting, though, so the game itself is of little interest to me.

I don't get it. Most of my friends are playing it, and at least a couple coworkers...

I mean... I played Ingress for a while, when it came out. Couple weeks. Got bored, and felt like an idiot for playing it even that long. And now there's a new one that combines Ingress with weird animal-mutant-monster-cartoon thingies that come out of plastic balls.

I won't be downloading it.

So I'm prepping a computer remotely for my client, for a demo they want to do today. We had to reboot the machine (or it decided to reboot on its own, I wasn't watching.)

Anyways, Microsoft is stuck on installing update #5 of 244.

I feel assimilated.

It's really not my imagination that infinite loops have increased by a very large factor since wins 8 & 10, despite the myriad tools that are in place to prevent them.

It's worse than the DOS days.
