We had 1-member teams where that individual would be the team manager. In other words, a company fully run by managers, who drank espresso all day long only pausing to make deeply intellectual observations about modern humanity.

Thanks for that. I've already stolen it and posted it elsewhere. I spent most of my working life being told this tale by Marketing morons and clueless managers, and I really tried to be a team player and live by this adage. But the fact remained that I acting alone consistently accomplished more in a month than any team managed in a year. Now that I've retired to become a gunsmith, I no longer have to listen to Marketing a$$hats or pay even lip service to their asinine adages.

My mother was a printer for many years back in the offset litho days, and I ended up running the a Print Society at school - which meant assembling forms from type cases.
So when computers started to catch up with proportionally spaced text, I had a head start on all the terms!
