Exactly... It is really too hot around here. She does tell me everyday that it is getting hot, and I (just in a way to make a run) say, yeah, hot people live there. 
Anyways it did rain here today, I hope the clouds find the way to your area also.

I've had molten road get stuck under my shoes before, right here in the Netherlands, not some southern oven. Some cheap types of road melt easily.
(any bets on how long it will take before fat_boy notices this thread?)

Yes, I've had tar on my shoes here, but I never seen asfalt crack up here - that happens during winter, not during summer.

Well maybe over there but here there was a wittle bit of snow on the grass this morning.

In my state of Gujarat, we generally have a whole month of may where it will reach 113 for few weeks, 115 for few days, and above 105 in average. But this time we have > 60% humidity that is what causing problems. And even crazy is that it will not go below 80 until 2 o'clock at night.

Not just the people who do that, include the people jerks who buy these birds. If there were no one willing to pay to have their endangered bird, the perpetrators wouldn't go through the effort.
