I've done that with a lower power fan. The heat coming off the chiminea melted the blower housing. Too bad I don't have a leaf blower.

As for everything, the right tool for the right job. An acquaintance of mine says that with an acetylene torch and the blower from his forge his charcoal grill goes from out to ready to cook from in 15 seconds.

Dunno about that: this was his "reward" safe Conservative seat (because he stood for one he didn't stand a chance of getting last time) and to throw that to the opposition at a time when the party has just massively won an election is not going to go down well with the Decision Makers at Luton Party HQ...they generally aren't a forgiving bunch!
