well in India officially Yes, but all companies have different mindset , some gives a full day week off whereas some company gives few hours only.

In Poland all elections are on Sunday, so yes.

Here in Aus, elections are always held on a Saturday. Those that normally work on Saturday must vote at their own expense, voting booths are open from 8am to 6pm, though you can always vote in the weeks leading up to the official date at an early voting station or you may apply for a postal-voting form.
I generally vote in the prior weeks or at about 5.50pm on the day - either offers a very quick voting experience.

Nope, it's always on a Sunday here.
And if you are really lucky you are chosen to sit at the offices the whole day, we do get payed for that tho, a whopping 25€.
If you don't show up you get fined 500€
Much fun.

0. Use 'var' keyword when initializer explicitly declares type.
1. Use appropriate variable names.
