That's why I added the "and be productive with it" part Wink | ;)
I already knew some JavaScript when I started my new job two months ago. I'm still struggling with the libraries (jQuery, jQuery UI, Knockout, soon starting AngularJS). I get stuff done, but it takes me twice as long as it would in C# or VB (WinForms). But perhaps that's also due to the nature of JavaScript, always having to look up the types of variables, where they are declared, etc. Sigh | :sigh:

And try learning Haskell in an afternoon or even a week, that's a language they cover Smile | :)
