And the question that still hasn't been answered is, does it really matter? Does the name that is commonly used to refer to a product that will be released in the future really matter to anyone until it's actually released?

When it came to build in March of this year, the Windows 9 name consumed the news stories and what actually happened at build didn't matter.

Most other releases haven't been seen as a mockery of the current operating system other then Vista.

You seem to be very critical over CP daily News. CP is not a news source. Chris and his minions bring forward a list of links that may be of interest to developers. They do not have the resources to check these sources nor is this their intent. In fact the comments under each link often give a hint that they are sceptical. Mary Jane Foley is one of the most respected sources for Microsoft News and this link was to one of her stories.
If you don't perceive any value to Daily News, unsubscribe. To use CP as a purely technical resource is perfectly honourable, but subscribing then complaining about the links, not so much.

Are You Sitting Comfortably because September 30th will soon be here but, Have You Heard that it might not happen then? I hope that you can find it So Deep Within You to forgive all the speculation. The Voyage will soon be at an end and The Dream version of Windows will be upon us.

They were here a couple of years back and my wife went to see them. Hayward and Lodge's voices were as good as ever. A trip back to better, simpler times < sigh />

... of course, this has me in a reverie. I met a wonderful woman the week before her 18th birthday and gave her that album.
Somewhat short-sited of me, as that meant we ended up with two copies. Saturday week that meeting will have been exactly 39 years ago and we've been married for over 36 of them.

Congrats, in this day and age that is a rarity. With vinyl it's not a bad thing to have 2 copies, I've wore out so many that if I had the money I've spent on LP's I'd be well off.
