1) Islam vs Not-Islam - USA and Iran are not friendly
2) Arabs behaving badly - USA and Iran are friendly

I am looking for a freeware package that will let me create my own UML diagrams.
Checking SnapFiles, FreewareHome, and MajorGeeks, as well as asking Google, Yahoo, and Bing for their suggestions, these were my quick results...
- "Dia" Looks like the best
- "Altova" - Did not like it
- "Visual Paradigm" - Did not like it
- "Violet" - Looked interesting.
Is "Dia" the best freeware UML generator for the time being ?
I welcome feedback from those who really know UML well

good to hear from you. I'm currently at a Sergeant training, and just got two days off for the last weekend (the first two free days for two weeks). My position later will include Win/Linux server and application maintenance including user training, and is therefore not far away from what I used to do before I joined army. It seemingly attracts morons, and I feel like I know all of them. I still do work at my Springlog Project (in the spare free time I get) and started writing a new article yesterday.
And that's how my life will look like until April.

That is great. Military service in France was something like moving a sand heap from one location to another, and then bring it back where it was. Or repaint buildings.

I clicked on the Link for StarUML, and saw a link that said: "Pre-Order Now"[^] in the top right hand corner
I clicked and saw lots of confusion about money, but I think I barely grasp the payment aspect, I think, I hope.
Please confirm, deny, or correct my thinking: This is free; yes ? After downloading, and using it like a freeloader (hey, the term finally has a fitting pun) I can voluntarily pay them when I feel philanthropic; yes again ?

StarUML is a bit dated, and also only available for PCs. I've used Umbrello, to good effect, which supports the XMI XML standard for representing UML, which StarUML doesn't support properly. Unfortunately, Umbrello seems to be KDE only, so only really practical on Linux boxes. I don't think there is yet a good cross-platform UML tool, or even tools that interact via XMI.

Site looks legit to me (I've bought a couple of products from them already)... however I also have my suspicions about the legality. Either way, they send you a product key which Microsoft accepts and haven't given me any crap about for over a year now and I've registered it obviously at Microsoft. I think if you read the fine print, the product key limits you to use the software only on one particular pc. So if you buy a new pc in the future you might run in to some trouble. Although I'd read up about it myself it I were you.
