Well, there's an old joke relating to that topic. It goes something like this:

We already have that: there is an email link below each message, which send your message - and your login email address - to the person who wrote the post.
You can then communicate privately by email, if that's what both of you want.
But the rest of the site is about open discussion, open sharing.
Private discussions don't help that.

This has been raised many times. The answer will be no.
This is a community, so content should be public. There is a facility to contanct members privately should they wish to enable it. Failing that there are the forums and the article sections.

Please don't. You already have one; why do you need an email-inbox per website? What's the case for having to check your mail in more than 20 different locations, each with their own password?
I can already promise I'll ignore everything that gets sent there, just as with the mailbox that the government and the bank created.
