Never tried croc but gator tail is real popular in these parts.
Thinking about opening a restaurant that allows customers to pick and catch their own gator and cook it right there. Insurance may be a little high but I think I can make a go of it. What would I have to charge if 9 out of 10 customers came out alive?

American alligator is part of the crocodillia family so I suspect they taste similar.
Reminded me of the taste of snake a bit, but not exactly the same.
I suppose you could say they both taste like reptile.

I give it a 10 from what I remember. It tasted very good, but that could be because of the way it was prepared. 
I remember trying puff adder and ostrich pies from the same place and they were also very good.
As I mentioned before the puff adder and crocodile pies had a similar flavor and the ostrich tasted somewhat like turkey.
