My first thought was you were a SPAMMER. Careful with posting all that quick nonsense. Someone might not look closely enough and start reporting you.

If you don't want spam to be visible on the homepage, then it might be an idea to post that in the suggestions-forum. Shouldn't be too hard to filter out the messages that have been reported as spam.

It's a workaround, and IIRC that suggestion has already been posted. The problem is to filter out false-positives, I guess.

Hi Griff,
I grew up near the beaches of Walcheren were Royal Marines landed in November 1944 after the dikes were bombed and water flooded the Island so only higher parts were left. The marines took the route thru a small, just a few hundreds of meters wide forest to capture these in the advance of there landing. The bullet holes in the trees are still recognisable in that small strip.
Almost everything was destroyed during the liberation of the Island leaving a scar in it's history just like the period the Romans were there did.
These boy's that have fallen on it's shore and in the fierce fighting in the after match of the liberations will be remembered and I think all of those who gave their life at the battle of Normandy and the whole WW2 battle in general will be to.
That war is a big scar in the history of mankind
