Win 8 is a touch phone OS, not a desktop or lappie OS.
What works on a four inch screen is totally useless when used on a pair of 22 inchers.

I kind of agree, although I have warmed to a bit more recently. What they need is a mode which keeps it in the desktop with a traditional start menu, then it'd be fine I think.
I honestly can't see businesses migrating to Windows 8 at any point in the future. It would simply be a step down from Windows 7.

I find that it can be suitable for business users but it is especially good for power users who can put in the time to get used to the "different" ways of doing things.
The improved task manager and smaller OS footprint alone are worth it. Not to mention improved Hyper-V and profile syncing for MS Account users.
Like Mycroft Holmes said, I'm going to have to change my motor habits. The problem is I'm having to do it again. I'd gotten used to it and then because the h8ters demanded a title bar its now different again.

I have had a similar problem with my iPad. I finally figure out that my fingers are to big. Thinking about sharpening at least one of them.

I have tried to find the option, but alas it is no longer the Microsoft way to give you a choice.

If you clear the option "Show Windows Store apps on the taskbar" in the "Task Bar and Navigation properties" dialog you'll get rid of the "title bar" of store apps. (Right-click on the taskbar, choose "Properties".)
You can also close an App with WindowsKey+DownArrow. See here[^] for more keyboard shortcuts.
Also, the problem you describe with teamviewer has nothing to do with windows 8, this can occur (and has occurred to me) in windows 7.
