I had similiar thoughts, they should just tell us the price
|
|
|
|
|
In October 2013 the price was 5,250 euro for standard edition (1-9 users) and 9,000 euro for site licence. If you have a problem with the high prices they are more than willing to provide some sort of discount (as they did for us based on the Rand/Euro exchange rate being so high at the time).
We use PVS-Studio all the time and it has found many potential bugs in our code.
Cheers,
Brett

All we need is a few bears, an earthquake, and a tsunami (quite likely given the 4.1 in LA recently) and life will be complete!
Have to say it makes a change compared to England, where the most dangerous thing is a drunk Scotsman....

How about Yorkshire? Does that count as a battle zone?

Last time I was there I went to a pub, ordered a few drinks, no problem. Then asking how much I owed? Gah! I ended up doing the "Confused Foreign Tourist" bit and just holding out a handful of change and letting the barmaid take what she needed...

What I have herd about going there.
Apparently they think they can just steal from people without any conscience.
I have seen this here when dealing with them.

That's not true at all. In fact its an insult.
Jimmy Ropes wrote in a message that isn't showing "Everyone I have met that was from Yorkshire has spent time in prison and come up with dodgy stories as to why they are expats and never return home to visit with their families.
I suspect that they can't go back home because of people they wronged would be looking to settle a score."
Ah, I see, so you prejudge a few million people based on the 5 or 6 you met in Thailand then. So in that case all Thais are paedophile cross dressers then because 'that's what I see on the TV so it must be true'

Edit: Wrong post replied. I am talking about West Yorkshire and not Luton. However, I did saw a sign board showing directions to Luton while on way to London.
That is weird. I thought it was just me who felt, "What the hell are they talking?". I mean not just the slang but normal office language too. Mostly, after a discussion, I would say, "Could you please send out an email with these details so everyone is aware?".

Nice kitty! That ain't no bobcat, it's a genuine, looking-slightly-twitchy cougar, aka mountain lion. They're usually very elusive and practically invisible. And anything less than a 7.0 doesn't deserve to be called an "earthquake." It's a temblor...

I have just come in close contact with elephants again. Their droppings are all over the roads and trails around the village.
The event is the third day of the Thai new year celebration of Songkran (happy new year 2775 B.E.). Pachyderms converge on the village every year to carry the aspiring monks to the Wat (temple) for their induction into the monkhood. My 12 year old nephew is doing this for the second time this year.
I always forget how large these jumbos are until I see one in a field eating by tearing branches from a tree as I did on my daily bicycle ride this morning.
Getting up close to them this afternoon just reinforced the awe I have for these giants of the natural world. One thing I have learned from watching them graze on my banana trees as they lumber down the road next to my field which is lined with banana trees is that they don't peel their bananas before they eat them. They just grab the whole bunch and stuff them into their mouths.
Just thought I would share.

Have you ever been for a ride on an elephant? There are not a lot of things like it that I have ever experienced.

When I were a wee nipper we went to London zoo and rode an elephant and watched the monkeys have tea. It was very cruel, really.

I have seen elephants abused in Bangkok, but these elephants in the province seem to be treated better.
At least they look happier. The one I saw this morning eating branches from a tree seemed happy. (S)he was at least able to eat natural food, and I have seen them rip bananas and leaves off my banana trees.
Then again I don't know what the elephant was thinking.
