I was specifically referring to the current GM fatalities, not general statistics. OBTW, in my car (SUV) everyone is belted. Haven't needed them, thank goodness.

I am renting an Impala LT at the moment, and its got a hell of an engine. They used to be crap, but they aren't these days. Last time I had a Cruze, it too was a very good car. Quick enough, good handling, economical. THe lead we had in Europe has been eroded.

This ITEM reminded me of one of my very most annoying peeves: Someone requests I FAX them something.
I point out to them "What private individual will have a FAX machine at home, especially these days?". Along with this I end up presenting a litany about can I scan it and email it. Some nitwits even will ask my FAX number - and I . . . well KSS and all.
When will that evil paper spewing devil-span cease to plague us?

I have a Fax machine at home.
My printer doubles as a scanner, photocopier, and fax.
Never used it as a fax though...

FAX usually requires a land-line - which itself is becoming less common (non of my progeny have ever had a land line).
Although there are some differences (i.e., PC could be off), if you put in in the PSC+FAX you might as well just scan to a file. The file can be emailed -> viewed -> only printed if necessary.
