My sister invited herself for dinner and Dr Who tomorrow.
I decided to do something really special for the 50th anniversary...

Starters:
A seafood medley of scallops on black pudding with a garlic beurre blanc sauce, langostines with a chilli and mustard mayonnaise on asparagus and herb toasted smoked salmon with fresh leaf salad, onion preserve and rose marie garnish.

Entree:
Fillet steak on chorizo crisps topped with a butter fried chestnut mushroom, served with potato fondant, sauted pickled red cabbage, baby vegetables and a green pea purée.

Desert:
Pears poached in syrup with a rich home made custard, raspberry coulis and an almond tuile.

Cheeseboard and mints to finish.

There is also a trifle for later.

I have several wines and all the ingredients for a bucket load of Woo Woos!

I shall mainly be in he kitchen tomorrow!

Pics to follow.
