You calculated the reverse of the Employment Rate[^] which isn't the same as the Unemployment rate[^].
The sometimes quite large difference between those two numbers can be seen here[^]

Ah, that's a good point. The map was really interesting too! It's weird seeing unemployment rates of 8% but employment rates of only, say 56%!

You forgot to exclude poeple who draw money from Socail Security, and the various welfare programs.

I just found that I can clone a Git repo with Cygwin and use msysGit to work with it as well. All places I looked said this would cause problems, and I have seen no issues with it.
I really do like Cygwin, and I am putting a portable installation of it on my USB HDD for use on other computers.

Yeah I use cygwin most of the time. I adore having a functional unix toolchain on a windows box.
Never went the additional step of installing it on a usb drive though. I always assumed it would be pretty slow.

I use a USB HDD, so it should be quite fast.

How would have this[^] worked out in America?
In America the guy would have pulled out a pistol and put 1/2 dozen slugs in the Dinosaur.

Sorry, but I'd have to disagree...
Slugs are fired from a shotgun.

Seriously very hard not to laugh at this in an office enviroment, they really do commit to pranks!

I don't want to be around people that can pull off that kind of a prank.

Oh yes you do, imagine their mind, huge imagination, creativity, have to be organised to pull it off, the team work involved (people running) and the sheer commitment to the prank, these people are geniuses!
I think Jamie Oliver would even hire them!

There are many upsides to be sure - all negated, in my humble opinion, by the numerous videos they'd post of me wetting my pants.

Just being an elephanting sunshine isn't grounds for the death penalty. I do however support elephanting with people who elephant with me; and considering the lousy visibility that sort of costume goes would head strait for the nearest trip hazard in search of my lulz.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

Nope - most workplaces are gun-free zones, and in some states, you can't even keep a gun in your car in the parking lot. At the very least, I'd have to run out to my car to get a weapon, but as capable as a 1911 pistol is, I doubt if it would cause a dinosaur to pause and reconsider its current actions. I don't typically have an AR-15 in the car unless I'm actually expecting some sort of interaction with someone who's primary aim is to do harm to me or mine.

A zillion years ago I wrote some help files using Help Maker, and back then I did not have the foresight to keep the authoring program with the source files. So now I need a favor, can someone compile Help Maker for me (source forge only has the pascal/delphi source code, WTF?). The source is here:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/helpmaker/[^]
First one to do so will get 5 votes for all of their articles from me .
BTW, I googled a bunch web sites of where I could supposedly download it. There seems to be this new trend to display a "DOWNLOAD" button in a bunch of advertisements. So before you download something, you first have to figure out which of the download buttons you should click. Very sneaky tactics, but guys, it's not working!

Oh nevermind, I'm using Help & Manual (very nice piece of help authoring software), and it seems it does a decent job of importing the compiled .chm file. So I no longer need this obsolete piece of software.
