I am now officially of a sensitive nature. Or Nagy.

You are of a sensitive nature - Or do you really want to be Nagy?

My liver jumped ship and fled at that suggestion, followed rapidly by my kidneys.
Please send replacement items immediately.

Dear Sir,
Your transformation to be a Nagy was successful.

You will not need them. You are now a Nagy.

We're fresh out of internal organs today. Will a couple of sponges and a case of limes do?

I'm sorry if I've posted this before, I might have been medicated. And drunk.
I recently bought my first Android phone, a little baby Galaxy Pocket. I'm happy as a pig in sh*t with the phone. It's amazing, or the OS is at least, but for the life of me I can't get a usable connection between it and my home or work laptop. It's paired to my work machine, but the settings icon is grey, and unresponsive. It is visible to all nearby Bluetooth devices.
When I connect to my work laptop via USB, I see the USB icon at the top of the phone screen, but not at home. I see the Bluetooth icon here at work as well, I don't know about home. Kies just keeps begging me to connect a device, and reinstalling the device driver when I tell it to troubleshoot the USB connection. It sure doesn't look like Kies can use a Bluetooth connection, which is the biggest, and it's quiye big, issue I have with the phone. That and it charges horribly slowly via USB.
Can anyone suggest anything I can look at or do? I have tried loading various version USB drivers, with zero effect.

I'm not using anything on the phone - I was trying to use Kies on the PC. Thank you, apparently all three apps you linked to will be installed on my device soon, although there are apps that have been downloading since Sunday.

I had Kies with an old dumbphone ("feature phone" do they call them now?)
I soon uninstalled it from my computer and used a basic file manager.
You can't get rid of it from Galaxy phones, but I've come to be very good at ignoring it.

If something's not downloading, cancel it and try again. It shouldn't take more than a minute to download most apps.

How do I cancel it? I see it as a notification that I pull down, saying Samsung Apps 13.84 MB / 14.13

Ah, it's from the samsung apps store. I have no idea how to stop it, then.
You're better off blocking that (when it's finished what it's doing), and using only the android apps store.

I've not joined the Smart Phone revolution yet so the only Galaxy Pocket problem I've had was when one melted in there once.
