Simple answer: no, it's too late. The CO2 in the atmosphere now has a residence time of ~150 years so even if we stop emitting completely today, some warming will continue.
Politically, also, no, because countries like China and India are pushing on with coal power and oil-driven transport and that will outweigh any technical solution we come up with in the west.
The time to do something about it was 10-15 years ago. At this point it is more about how to mitigate the negative consequences as best as possible.

There are far greater issues threatening the human race (after all the planet will carry on without us if we cannot cope here anymore) than any man-made climate change that does exist.
Too many people, not enough resources.
Once the planet is unable to sustain people the people will find it harder to survive and will start to decline in numbers. That is nature in action, dealing with a problem.
To divide everything into natural or man-made is incredibly arrogant of the human race.
Every man can tell how many goats or sheep he possesses, but not how many friends.

SL in a dire position at 76/5 after only 27 overs on day one! Unfortunately the tv at work is on the blink so I haven't been able to watch. I'm guessing it's another dust bowl for a pitch?

I was testing a game developed by an old friend and after several minutes of playing, a message box popped up saying "Playing this game further will run you out of memory". I said to myself, I just have to stop testing because If I run out of memory, don't you think my name will change to John Doe? If you're in position what will you do?

Wow, that was an experience...
About 3 words to the end of your post, some cross thread operation hit me with a NULL and suddenly the whole of your post was gone from my memory
My opinions are right, and yours are wrong! (or at least that is my opinion)

I just overheard this from a female coworker:

I can understand your shock. Husband has to get a sitter, and going to the range can be expensive depending on what your shooting. Usually followed by a nice meal. A very nice date.

Depending on the prenup, she might actually turn a profit.

A large life insurance policy would look suspicious.
