No, that's a bit more than not at all pregnant.

I don't do Atkins, but am on a different low carb routine. The first 30 days I definitely had lower energy levels, but now I feel like I recover faster and have more energy. I think a lot of it had to do with getting used to eating that much fat, so my calorie intake was low. When I do have foods with more carbohydrate content, it's usually after an intense workout, but I don't know if I really buy into that having a big impact. I'm finding the most important factor for me is food quality. If I eat nutritious food, I eat less.

You shoud be eating higher carb content food approx 6 hours (for pasta as an example) BEFORE and intense workout. This will maximize energy levels for your workout and increase metabolic rates longer after your workout. If you sit on your butt all day then low carb diets are very effective, but the more active you are the more carbs you will need, just the right type and at the right times.

Yeah I hear you.
If I did cardio that bordered on 30 minutes or longer then I think it might be an issue. The longest workouts I do are 1-2 miles of sprints and I usually recover within a few minutes. The other thing is that while some might classify my diet as "low carb" it's really just sufficient carb. When you cut out sugar, grains and legumes you really have to work to get the carbs in your diet.

I've not heard of such a concoction, however I would tend to think it's yet another quick fix type thing. My wife has a freaking book shelf devoted to such trendy things (and she's not really over weight). I'm of the opinion that if it gives you added confidence to use it while you're reducing your food intake and exercising then go ahead and try it. I do not believe however that it does much of anything in and of itself.

I have seen people talk about it. But, Honey has way too much sugar content which translate calories. You have to burn these calories. If not you will gain weight.

I've been able to maintain my weight, feel much much better, sleep better, drop my body fat percentage from mid-twenties to low teens, through diet and exercise. I do intense exercise rarely lasting more than 20 minutes 4-5 times a week and have cut out foods that I was having a reaction with. I'm 36 and I'm on course to have ab muscle definition before I turn 37.
Throughout my 20's I struggled to keep my weight under 200 and get my body fat below 20%. I thought I was eating a healthy diet and doing the right types of exercise with long and slow cardio. I wasn't really out of shape, but I was doing a lot of work with mediocre results.

Yes. Next time you reach for a bag of chips, just drink some honey and lemon-juice water instead.

If you're interested, here's how I dropped nearly 80 pounds over a one year period:
- Eat small sensible meals every couple of hours (ex. can of soup, protein bar, etc.), or three good-sized balanced meals per day. After the main evening meal, don't eat anything else. Snacks are okay between meals as long as you keep it to vegetables, fruits, etc. Chips (crisps) or crackers are okay in small servings. Desserts are not off-limits, but should be severely curtailed.
- Limit intake of sodas (sugary or diet), and limit caffeine intake (I'm bad at this). Replace with water, sugar-free drinks (e.g. Crystal Light), etc.
- Increase your exercise. I started with taking the stairs at work and gradually worked up to playing basketball for an hour 3 times a week with coworkers and some light weightlifting.
- Limit your sodium intake. US guidelines suggest 3,000 mg of sodium per day. I try to keep it (on average) to 400 - 600 mg per meal, or 200 - 400 mg if eating smaller meals throughout the day.
- Depending on where you like to eat, avoid eating out too much. A number of places have extremely high sodium and calorie counts. Some meals contain over twice the amount of daily sodium in just the one meal.
- Realize your body has its own idea about where it should be and ignore the average BMI/weight guidelines. I'm currently around 250 pounds. According to the guidelines, I'm supposed to be around 186. I figure if I get down to 225, I'm doing good.
My initial goal was to drop from over 325 pounds to 250, and I've reached that goal. I've rebounded up a little, so now I'm working to burn it back off.
Your mileage may vary, as with all diets, and should not be construed as advice of any kind.

I usually suffer of oral thrushes and to rinse this thing makes me feel much better.
Rinse it and after suffering a little bit due to the acid of the lemon, you will have great results...
Well, I don't drink it, and neither do I need to loose weight, so I can't tell you if you will loose weight or not...
By now, honey seems to me too nice tasting to imply loosing weight...

Is it just me? If not, how long has it been this way?
