yummy!
I love dried bananas, I bet they stay hot for ages too.
Sounds like a bit of honey drizzled on them wouldn't go amiss either.

Agreed. These bajjis are slightly sweet, and because it's deepfried too, they'll go great with a cup of tea (I had them with a cup of Darjeeling tea). This is not the typical bajjis that one would have with some dip/sauce or chutney.

Honey on bajjis?

Bananas and peanut butter go together too.
Don't blame me. I voted for Chuck Norris.

Isn't that a bit cloying in the mouth?

Not a bit. Peanut butter and banana sandwiches are awesome. They were practically a staple of my diet as a kid.

My last gf said that banana's and her cat go together. Apparently she really liked that combination. I still wonder why.

Not when you follow the right order
1) Eat one bhajji.
2) Drink water.
3) Eat the second bhajji.
4) Start screaming....
5) Run to the larder - locate sugar, honey, whatever and consume.
6) If still willing, proceed with third bhajji.....

Surely, yes on Pazha Bajjis! Not on the normal ones.

Actually, these bananas are NOT dried. They're sumptuous, fresh, and ripe.
Dalek Dave wrote: Sounds like a bit of honey drizzled on them wouldn't go amiss either.
Absolutely! The bananas are almost completely ripe, and the batter is going to be slightly sweet because of the sugar and a small pinch of powdered cardamom. A few drops of honey would go great with this (not with the batter, but on the bajji). I see you have a great taste.
Don't worry about the other guys, they're probably thinking that you said honey would go good with normal Indian bajjis, which are usually hot or slightly spicy or both. Honey would be a blunder there.

I don't have a single favourite. However, depending on my whims, I may eat any of the following:
Anzac oatmeal cookies
Britannia NutriChoice biscuits (I seem to have a predilection for the healthy stuff most other people hate)
Sweet corn (steamed or grilled)
Baby cucumbers (generally with red chilli powder and salt, but I'm staying off any more hot food for this weekend)
Drinks:
Plain water
Rooh Afza
Vettiver/Khus extract
Cheers,
Vikram. (Got my troika of CCCs!)

Yeah based on his diet, it's quite clear that he's one of those night clubbing party animals!

OTOH, I was thinking what a nerd he was (although he keeps denying this fact). You'll notice that there's no "actual food" in his list. He's surviving on cookies, drinks and baby cucumbers.

He did mention in a post elsewhere how he is a monster-cook though. Made some stuff for a cousin during a weekend.

WTF! That's stuff I snack on - surely you don't survive on banana bajjis?
Now if you excuse me, I have to go for my radish sambar and carrot bhaji with rice.

On the whole, I prefer snacks.
