I just saw this "feature" show up on stackoverflow (snapshot[^]).
I'm running the Brave browser (chrome-based) and this is a useless feature that is implemented on the server side (in the web page.
Have You Ever Seen This?
Have you ever seen this "feature"? It is very odd.
i'm probably going to switch from Brave soon, because it is so annoying and the only browser I've seen it appear in so far.

Yes the feature is very odd and the screenshot is help.
See the top of the web page in the snapshot where it has a rectangle overlaid on the page and says, "Skip to main content"?? That is the odd feature that only shows up in Brave.
I've just switched to MS Edge on my linux box.

Also, I see why the original snapshot was annoying. It included the imgur crap around it.
Sorry about that. I updated it so it is just the image. Thanks

That didn't help. Now its just the standard "The image does not exist" message. Maybe you need to modify the URL in your original message? Or maybe it's not available outside the US, but I think that would be a different message from imgur.

Thanks for your help. Yeah, I can't figure out why the image keeps showing up differently.
I guess imgur isn't a good way to share images after all.

'Skip to main conent' will show in Chrome to for most sites if you hit <tab> (and regardless of the existent a proper anchor)...
It seems that Brave adds a bar without the need for a tab... Have you checked configurability of that bar? Does it appear always or only if there is a proper anchor?
(Edge on Linux is an interesting combination - I use Firefox on my Fedora)

In the infancy of "software industry" it was common to "release and then wait for customer to provide feedback" AKA "let the customer spent his money testing OUR product".

Every fall and spring the HVAC system for our building spends a couple of months in a mechanical tizzy as it oscillates back and forth between heating and cooling. There are a remarkable number of systems (that don't talk to each other), each of which can be in a heating or cooling mode. Our weather has been somewhat warm the last few days, so of course it's stifling in here right now. The temperature inside is close to 80°F and the humidity is high.

Once it gets that hot I can't even think.
Our company's A/C went out a number of years ago and it got to be 83 or so and you just want to sit and sweat. It's really terrible.
Hope you get it resolved soon.

The fun part is our lab with our build servers. The lab contains a lot of equipment that generates heat. I've come into the lab on Monday morning after a hot weekend and the temperature is over 100°F and most of the machines have turned themselves off with over-temperature alarms. We did have one ancient Intel server box that didn't have temperature sensors that would stay running, but it's long decommissioned.

I've experienced (been tortured with) the opposite; having to write code while sitting in the server room which was about 60 F. I was literally an iceberg pecking at the keys writing code, trying to get done fast so I could finally go back to my cubicle.
I was being trained by a consultant while at a large company and for some reason the server room was the only location big enough to house both of us at the same time. I guess no one wanted to hear him training me or something??
Anyways, I think it was also for the "torture" component of the situation in an effort for BigCo and BigManager to "send the message" that they could make my life terrible if they wanted to.
