"Black Alert!"
And lest anyone misconstrue that remark, it is in reference to Star Trek: Discovery and the use of tardigrades for warp travel.

Great acting of the Tardigrade (Ripper), and also captain Lorca in that episode of Star Trek Discovery!

The (mouth? sucker?) at the front certainly looks like a manufactured article, but that is a genuine tardigrade.
If you want something to really give you nightmares, look for similar micrographs of spiders, flies, and other creatures of that size.

greetings kind regards would this work ? lets say a million people wear full-body suits/apparatus/cameras/microphones etc. of some sorts and thus collect all sensory and motor input/output to perform their daily tasks . this occurs for a year lets say . all the human motor functions are translated to the motor controls necessary to control a humanoid robot to perform identical physical maneuvers . all this information i.e. motor controls, visual, haptic, acoustic etc. etc. etc. are utilized to train AI software which will control our friend the robot . will the robot now be able to do our house cleaning cook our meals do our laundry etc. etc. etc. ? sounds reasonable to me . wadya think .

There's the rub. How do you abstract the data into a convenient model?

You are conflating a large number of problems, none of which are completely solved: machine hearing, vision, touch, taste/smell. Simulating a human requires a lot more than just handwaving.

Yes, but you still need to build a model whose parameters can be optimized by the "deep learning" process. Building a good model is the difficult part; optimization of the parameters is "merely" an enormous regression problem.

As it turns out βpeopleβ were right not to wear masks. Nearly all studies find it was a waste. Recent studies (Germany) even show that wearing a mask was βbadβ (particularly for pregnant women) as it jacked up CO2 levels.
