I have something to show you all that is relevant to the site and somewhat remarkable.
It doesn't look like it's permitted here.

it is not...
When I want to do it, I add the image to ImGur and post the link here

Depends what it is: some forums permit it because they are "heavily policed" but the rest don't to avoid corporate netnazis blacklisting CP - we have a number of "regular visitors" who would post very inappropriate material if given half a chance!
Sugs'n'bugs allows images, as does "Where I am".
What is it you want to show us?

Saw them in Feb'92 (I think) at The Palace of Auburn Hills, main floor, 6th row. Their last tour.
Incredible show!

They were very, very good. Especially Knopfler. Checkout the soundtrack for movie "Local Hero".
Pic Withers was listed as the drummer on wiki.

Living so long you get old and decrepit, or dying before that happens? But not too young either!

Sort of hard to sort until you get to the other side.
"no one wants to live to be 90. Until they are 89."

Im 73 and, I am starting to wonder if that is the case. Although, I do need to stick around to take care of my wife and 2 children.
Besides, SWMBO tells me that dying is not an option!

That depends. Old age in reasonably good health - yes. Old age in constant pain and debility - not necessarily.
(YMMV)

Quality of life is a relative thing; to me it's being mobile and my mind sharp.
When the time comes that I become immobile or lose what little senses I have I hope that the redeemer will be kind enough to take me quickly.
That said; getting old ain't for sissies!

You know how there's that saying, "The only reward for good work is more work?"
Well there's a corollary, "The only reward for surviving is old age."
The difficult we do right away...
...the impossible takes slightly longer.
