Since pkfox has changed his vote[^], I'm counting this one as a draw: 2 for, 2 against. I abstained, so I guess I have the casting vote.
I think it's a good idea in principle, but it'll be a PITA to organise, and sounds like extra work for me so I'm going for "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".
The result becomes 2 for, 3 against, and they stay as they are on this one.
If anyone can come up with a system that is self notifying / policing then I'll reopen voting - but for the moment, it's DOA.

This shrinking-walls image sometimes occurs to me when i realize a coding strategy i have invested time in implementing will never work, and i'm back at "square-one" empty-handed. Those experiences are rare these days, since over time i have become "religious" about identifying key unknowns and testing them in isolation to get "proof of concept" before moving ahead ... and using "divide and conquer" and "stepwise refinement" strategies.
