Seriously, we need tuna can control.... Was rushing today to make SWMBO (and I love her) some lunch. Pull tab off can of tuna slipped. 7 elephanting stitches later... SOB cut my %$#% thumb to the bone. Sort of weird looking at parts of my thumb flapping in the sink. A bitch to hit the space bar.

Ditto for anything else with sharp or fragile edges. In fact, let's give up on anything that could conceivably cause any sort of injury, however slight.
We might have a problem surviving - after we've given up fire, we might discover that trees are unsafe, too.

I'm poking fun at myself for sure. I use power saws, table saws, chain saws and really sharp kitchen knives all the time. I simply was careless and entered the "awww elephant" zone. I'm selling all of my guns and putting "this house protected by tuna cans" signs in my yard

We ate ham (the big chunk on the stand, no ham slices) on new year's eve, so I cut slices with a long unsharp knife, towards my hand that was steadying the stand, I slipped out with the knife = I won a drive to the emergency services at 1:30 on the 1st of january. How to end a good night in blood.
4 stitches and a nice scar on my finger, which does not come as a surprise since you can count at least three big fails in my above sentence.
