Now that is how you make coffee.

Cowboy coffee. Had to do that myself a while back. Working on new house and forgot to bring coffee maker. Its an 1-3/4hour drive between houses.
I'm not sure how many cookies it makes to be happy, but so far it's not 27.

Cowboys put the ground coffee in a sock before boiling. So it could be used many times.

The coffee or the sock?

Ah yes, one of the benefits of living with a strong-willed wife. We have his and hers coffee-makers since we don't drink the same recipe and the times one of us has had to wait while the other's brewed weren't... pretty.

Of course you have more than one.
Right?
I have 3 active ones and a couple spares. Luckily moka pots are quite compact.

for the last 2-3 weeks my junk mail has doubled each day. I attribute this to COVID and having to stay home and shop online more, but why starting in the last 2-3 weeks? very weird. Took the jerks all this time to recognize me?
Someone is selling email addresses, and it isn't me. I have not created any new accounts since COVID started, so I have my suspicions (Amazon, Google, Microsoft... the usual suspects).

FleaBay, perhaps? That's where my old mail address leaked out over some careless seller.

it never happened to me. I hardly get junk email. gmail is very good at getting rid of the junk mail.
I suspect their is an issue/bug with their junk email code, but who knows.

Have you updated your domain registry information lately?
I've been spam-free for years but I have to register email address for contact with domain registry and within 24 hours I started getting spam on that email address. The bots are terrible.

Gmail had their system messed up so bad recently that it thought some inboxes didn't exist at all (and I've seen it first-hand, when replying to gmail senders).
Maybe in some restore process, they had to nuke some spam rules and junk is now getting through while it's re-learning to make the distinction between junk and legit mail...
Pure speculation from my part. Who knows.
