I use Microsoft Authenticator...
I had to install it on the new phone...
There is no way the get the QR a second time if you beyond it already...
Add the account in the old way (email/password)...
Receive a message on the phone in the Authenticator that I have to confirm the login via the Authenticator...
Only resetting my profile in MFA helped to resolve this catch 22...
I believe that inclusion of MFA in the Authenticator is a true gem...

My very first job when I went freelance (as a home office PC expert, doing hardware as well as software) was to install a CD drive into a desktop machine. It needed drivers, which were helpfully supplied... on CD. Thanks, IBM.

Glitter is an unnecessary (dangerous?) art item and should never have been brought to market.

Don't worry, EXPERTS will come out and suggest:
1) you put a mask over your project to keep the glitter out, but it's okay to lift the mask to work on the project in that room.
2) as long as the person who started using glitter stops using glitter, it's okay if they leave the open glitter box near a fan (asymptomatic spread)
3) Injecting your other art with a product "not quite proven" to prevent glitter from landing on it will make your art project safe... But we don't know if it will ruin the project or not, and we hope it dries without making it magnetic. (And when > 90% of protected art in Israel was still infected with Glitter... stop looking at that)
4) If someone finds evidence that over 1,000 patents were filed for making glitter spread faster and ruin projects, and that SAME person was the one who brought in the glitter for their project, and they claim, despite being told that "doing this is dangerous and causes glitter to spread wildly", they paid for the research to be done (in a foreign country, where the laws aren't as strict).
5) It's discovered they they predicted this glitter mess about 3-4 years before it happened... (and it turns out, they and their friends PROFIT from the testing and glitter protection)
THEN I think the analogy is spot on.
And to make the spread look worse, dust/dirt is counted as glitter (cycle counts > 27)
Oh, and if an art project is ruined by "glitter protection"...
Well, you need to provide proof, because those projects were at risk anyways

What is the deal with Light and dark mode in Windows10? What is the reason dark mode sprang into existence?
I have always used Light mode. I'm wondering if I should "come to the dark side".

I don't know. What I do know is that things moving around on a dark background cause me discomfort, while the same things moving around on a white background do not.

I find the opposite true, but I have moderate dyslexia, and it helps reduce eye strain. for some reason dark mode fixes the words bumping into each other than light mode for me. but there needs to be a pretty good contrast for this to work well.
there are quite a few studies that back this up.
