I just found out the Chinese forum is as good as dead and the Indian forum is actually in English.
So consider the Lounge as a German forum, except it's also in English and we discuss topics unrelated to Germany

I guess there are no restrictions for Germans on visiting and contributing to the Indian forum too.

The separate forum is mostly there to familiarize newer members from India/China with the western forum etiquettes. You'll notice a quite a few Indian members chilling in the lounge as well.
It is just there to bridge the cultural gap, no special treatment unlike many believe because of the numbers.

My favorite "GAP" story is The Onion: Gap Unveils New 'For Kids By Kids' Clothing Line[^].
Moderate technical quality (2007 vintage), but contents is The Onion at its best. I call it "my favorite" not in the feelgood sense - it really gives me shivers. Especially since it is "based on a true story" - the episode was created in response to a disclosure of conditions at real-world GAP factories.
