Google has nothing, except for one other person who got the same email a couple of days ago:
https://forum.unity.com/threads/amazon-to-cease-software-games-service-in-amazon-developer-portal.538554/
Nothing obvious on the Amazon Developers[^] Twitter feed.
Have you checked the message headers?

Yes. They look legit. At least they all end with "[something].amazon.com"
Maybe Amazon got hacked.

I just got back from a week vacation in Slovenia!
Awesome country, even more beautiful than I expected.
I've seen lots of mountains and forests, some gorges (like stepping in to the lost world), a huge cave (which reminded me a bit of Khazad-Dûm), some waterfalls, and an awesome castle that was built into a mountain wall.
I'm not really one to share vacation pictures, but I don't want to keep this small selection from you: Facebook link[^]
Really recommended for people who like beautiful nature.

Wow, those are great pics. Kudos to the photographer too!

That's me and my Samsung Galaxy S7!
If you shoot a couple 100 of pics you accidentally make a good one once in a while

Talk about change induced by world 2.0 -> Before : Photographer = person who has the know-how about exposure, light, placement, ... to shoot beautiful pictures. After : Photographer = person who is able to quickly sort out and select the best out of 40,000 pictures in a limited time.
Apart from that, I am no facebooker, so no way to check out the pictures, but the thumbnails I am allowed to see without subscribing look beautiful. Nice !

I'm also not on FB, but clicking on the Picture shows you the full Image
It does not solve my Problem, but it answers my question

I think bad to average photographers can now shoot decent pictures while the actual pros can shoot even better pictures than they could 10-20 years ago

I gifted the S9+ to my wife for her birthday (well, a couple of months early but since we're going to Paris for honeymoon we'd like to have a second high quality camera available) and it's even better, it adapts to any lighting condition and the optical 2X zoom makes easy to fix details from a distance.

Yeah, it's really good!
It was the best phone camera when it came out
I was really amazed by the first picture I took with it (which was in a moderately dark room).

Looks great indeed … 2 years ago I visited Bratislava (Slovakia … ),
for a conference and a project meeting … 4 days or so, and only in the evenings
we had some time to walk along the Donau, have a tasty beer …
Such trips are quite nice indeed ...

BTW Last week I was wondering about SOTW,too ,
and by coincidence I was listening to a band from
+/- this area of Europe ... (a band from Austria …)

Where are you in Norway?
I've been to the Lofoten myself, very nice!

Stavanger and Sandness mostly; been visiting friends (the ones that took me to the Ghost-concert, and yes, the idiot then was me, so you and I met without saying) and they showed me around. A very green country, with friendly people. Been on a mountain, and took a "water bus" to a fjord. I'm used to public transportation, just not to using a bus-ticket on a boat.
The difference with the Netherlands is most obvious when you're standing in a line, waiting. The people on board were allowed to get of first, whilst the people who wanted to board simply waited patiently. Came back to the Netherlands yesterday, and there was the Dutch train-boarding proces again - people entering the train by pushing, even before the first one could get out.
Very impressive country; been online once in four days, just for a few minutes, and only seen two police-cars during the entire stay.
Lofoten is more North - but next time I'll drop a hint that I may want to see the Norwegian version of Texel

Going there for a couple of days next week, on the way to Croatia.
I believe Piran is on the todo list.
Any recommendations that I shouldn't miss?

Haven't been that far down, but I can recommend the Skocjan caves[^] (biggest cave I've ever been in) and Predjama castle[^].
That's the closest I've been to Piran
