Sorry - couldn't resist.
Canon EOS 1100D with Magic Lantern firmware installed
Standard Canon18-55 Lens on manual focus
Aperture fully open at F4.5
30 second exposure every 30 seconds using magic Lantern's Intervalometer
RAW format
On a tripod
Imported into iPhoto and reduced exposure slightly as they were over exposed. (where it gets darker toward the end of the video, in fact the lens was misted and I had to adjust contrast too to stop it being a grey blur)
Imported the 330 frames into iMovie * adjusted each frame to 0.1 seconds
uploaded to YouTube

Nice video, when you get out from civilization and it's clear you can see a lot more. When I camp or backpack I sleep in a hammock and I'll wake up at night and look up at the stars, it's an awesome sight.
As I grow older I've found that pleasing everyone is impossible but pissing everyone off is a piece of cake.

Yep - and we're in a reasonably civilised area!
Head out a few kilometers, and it's really spectacular when your eyes adjust.
once I get the exposure to my liking I intend to spend the night at the local lake, see if I can't get a timelapse with reflections!

That's awesome, seen a lot of those type pics on flickr. One with a lighted tent and a time lapse background make for a great shot.

Softens the realisation that some bastard has stolen your tent again.

Tip for next time : do it on daytime, because it is very dark and the plot is quite hard to follow when you cannot identify the characters.

Exactly.
We need another option next to reporting a message as Spam or Abuse. We need the option to flag as Facebook and as soon as it gets 3 votes it automatically is removed from CP and posted to FaceBook.
Then again, the Lounge could become a quite place then.

You either mean "quite a place" or "a quiet place", perhaps you meant "quite a quiet place".
