It was a stock Google Nexus (the one released after the Google Nexus One).

Neat! I bought a Galaxy S5 a couple months ago, so I'm going to be sticking with that for a while. But this is definitely something I'll keep my eye on.
Snapping those SIMs is a little freaky the first time you do it. Doesn't look like it could possibly work.

The sim was an ancient one, before the days of the micro or nano, so it didn't have any markers or snap points. I physically marked it using a template and then cut it with a pair of scissors. The original SIM didn't fit nicely in the outline of the template, so the scaling must have been slightly out, so positioned it 'reasonably central' and just hoped for the best.

All packed for the cruise ship -- all my sexiest dresses and make-up. Really excited.

Entire day at sea, beautiful and saw whales and dolphins.
Met the Captain today -- seems like a very nice man.

At the pool today. Also some shuffle boarding and hit golf balls off the deck.
Captain invited me to join him at his table for dinner.
Felt honoured and had a wonderful time. He is very attractive and attentive.

Won $800 in the ship's casino.
Captain asked me to have dinner with him in his own cabin.
Had a luxurious meal complete with caviar and champagne.
He asked me to stay the night but I declined.
Told him I could not be unfaithful to my husband.

Pool again today, got sun burnt, and went inside to drink at piano bar for rest of day.
Captain saw me, bought me several large drinks. He really is charming.
Again asked me to visit his cabin for the night. Again I declined.
He told me if I did not let him have his way with me he would sink the ship.
I was shocked.

Today I saved 1600 lives. Twice.

A few weeks into the boxing gym now, and I'm glad I started. It's a killer workout, and the coach is good about helping me work on stuff. I would like it if we worked on defense more, but it's still been beneficial.
About 5 or 6 months in to the new academy now, and it's also been a very good decision. I'm learning a lot at a pretty good pace.
So with Jeet Kune Do, the new BJJ academy, and now the boxing gym I should be able to perform much better this next year. I'm feeling good about it, and I have till then to get my weight back down to where I want it.

I'd love to find a boxing gym around me. I can't go to a normal gym and just "pick things up and put them down." Feels good, but it just offends my need to be productive.

It was difficult for me to find a boxing gym. I had looked a few times, and they don't do the advertising and whatnot. I just had to ask around with some people I trained with to find the one I am at now.

There is all sorts of crazy going on where I work at the moment, power shifts in the management, arguments over who is to blame for various things, and now the dumbest request I have ever seen has come my way. I am resisting it, and have support from my manager to continue resisting, but as I said, there is a shift in the balance of power and we are being lined up to catch the sh*t when it hits the fan.
I've been summoned into a meeting tomorrow, one of the managers on my side has just phoned me up and asked me to go, be as polite and helpful as I can.
And to try not to walk out or hit anyone.
The worrying thing is, at the weekend I had a dream that I was in a meeting with some of those who will be present tomorrow. My final line in the dream meeting before storming out was "With all due respect, you can all go and f*** yourselves".
Until developments this morning there was no indication at all that I would be in a meeting with these people anytime soon.
