Its been around since around late late year / early this year can't remember the exact date.
Every day, thousands of innocent plants are killed by vegetarians.

Sometimes it does. Some websites do offer a different experience if you decline tracking cookies (functional cookies are still allowed), while others would just redirect you.

By my experience the EU Cookie Directive didn't change much, apart from some pages that let you have a choice in the matter, most pages
just put up a notice saying: "This site uses cookies, if you don't like it, bugger off"
What does everyone else think about the matter ?

How do you handle a boss that doesn't want to listen to your explanation and believe he is right! But you can see the flaw of the plan as plain as the back of your hands?
Definition:
Handle - make him see, calm him down, make him listen.

Do it in writing, not contradicting or telling him another way, just saying "this is my idea" or "would there not be a problem if we did this..".
Give him every opportunity to change ideas without seeming to back down or be seen to be wrong.
Doing it in writing (eg. an email) means he can read it at his leisure, without any pressure, and think about a response - it's not putting him on the spot. Also, if he refuses to listen, goes ahead and it all goes pear shaped, if he tries to blame it on you you can just produce the email ...

handle with extreme caution, as if the boss was a cocktail shaker full of nitro glycerine. do not startle, jolt, shake or bump the boss. avoid heat, direct sunlight, open flame. if you must address the boss, do so in a polite whisper from behind a sturdy desk. do not expect a response. indeed, pray you don't get a response.

To calm someone down you have to first connect with them on an emotional level. Mirror whatever emotion he has and state it to him. Only after you have aligned at that level will he be most receptive to your plan.
