I am currently going through a manning book that covers how to build a single page application website using all 3.
but beyond that I do have an interest in learning Angular.js for a personal project.

I'd be glad not to be the only one who does not understand a single line of this post. Technically challenged, give me a sign !

The technically challenged can't give you a sign. They are too busy drooling in the corner.

The existence of Windows 8 has not ruined the other versions for me, especially not Windows 7.
I'm just not using W8, that's all.

I would that I could find time for personal computing related projects and new technology, but, in my current position, I use third party based systems for most of it and only occassionally actually write code.
For personal projects, this past six months has seen me dip my toes in woodworking... and I'm quite enjoying it!

Not really because of Win8, though. I started with Angular a while back because of a JS-heavy site I was working on at work. At the time, Win8 existed, but it was a non-issue for me. (still is - I'm a firm believer in the "Skip-Every-Other-Microsoft-Release" way of thinking). And when I started tutorials and watching videos and such to get up to speed on Angular, a lot of them were using the MEAN stack, so that got me interested in Mongo and Node. Not too keen on Express. Though to be fair I haven't really given it a good try yet.

I do like Express - I find it quite straightforward and Jade, as a view engine, isn't too bad.

Excellent. I'm trying out various options for full text search - been looking into Solandra and Solr. Any recommendations?

Not quite right: A card is a humorous fellow; a score is the musical notes written down to be played.
And a scorecard is where you keep results as you whack a ball round a course with golf-bats. Or at least, where you should keep the results, instead of an "abridged, official" version...

You could try teaching MATHS instead, as Mathematics is a plural not a singular.
Unless you taught Mowing, in which case you would teach math, which is all about harvesting and hay baling.
Maths is the correct term. To say Math is to imply you are an American with all the poor communication and spelling and grammatical errors implicit with such a pseudo-language.
