Fortunately, this is not the result of a machine's newly discovered free will. It's just the normal inability of a software developer to generate both a meaningful error message with debugging info for logging and an understandable message for the user at the same time.
Once I had to fix a web application that sent me hundreds of mails when it had a bad day, telling me that an error had occured. No information about the error, or about the place where it happened, or (god forbid) any secret information about the user's parameters so that the error could actually be reproduced.

You know, sometimes, computers get moody, when this happens I usually, take the screwdriver and menace it with "I'm going to repair you". Works like a charm .

I'll remember that for next time.

I think the screwdriver is more for your mental health than the PC's, especially if it works, because it is really out of whack if you see it does work.

On the other hand, I've seen the behavior of many a PC towards my wife and it appears to emote pure malevolence towards her.
The worst I've gotten is a bug in the code that I can't find, I put in print statements because I didn't have a debugger at the time, take out the print statements because the bug disappeared and the bug doesn't reappear. The worst I've gotten before that was the print statements didn't help find the bug, but it remained throughout until I finally spotted the logic error.
Generally, computer problems are between the ears of the programmer.

Ahh... Nice to see M78 for a change. I get tired (if not bored) with images of M42/M43. Its nice to see a picture of something in Orion that isn't red!

He did it right though jumping to the lower balcony, he probably could have done that all the way down. I don't know if he could have done it before the upper part collapsed though?

I agree rather thee than me but if it was a matter of burning or attempting to go down the balconies and possibly missing one I'll take the later, at least there's a chance of getting out of it.

They say that Gravity is the weak force...
That said I am inspired to go to the gym and do pullups and leg lifts.
But there is no exercise I know of for such calm except training and character.
