You notice he didn't answer my question about intercom functionality - so I guess thats a no then! 
I'm seriously contemplating buying one though. I've been thinking of making my own with a rasp pi for ages now.
My pi version would be better, naturally, but this probably does enough for my needs!
The main thing I like about it is it looks like a fairly normal design from the outside.
