I still have a week to go...well 4 days, we get Friday before finals off because our finals start on Saturday (mostly for freshman though, I don't have any until that Monday). Then 5 more semesters (4 until my BS and 1 more for my MS, which I'm working on simultaneously).
But congratulations, and good luck on finals!

We have a few days off before finals, too. My final exams are next Thursday and Saturday morning. Then the qualifiers are the 2nd week of January.

My school is apparently pretty well know for it's Petroleum Engineering department (Colorado School of Mines). They're in the process of building a new building for the PE department from a grant they got recently...kind of a pain for everyone else due to it's location though (between one of our largest parking lots and the majority of the campus).

Yes, Colorado School of Mines is well respected for petroleum and mining engineering. I'm at U of Texas in Austin.

Inspired by Henry's thread...
Do any of you know where I can find a single file (webpage, textfile, whatever) that lists the name of every region in the world, including continents, countries, provinces, states, cities, boroughs, towns, villages, hamlets, and so on? The list need not include extraplanetary regions (e.g., the Milky Way), but would be neat if it did.

I doubt you would find one list, as that would be quite large!

Perhaps. I just happened across a list of all US places (as of 2000, over 25,000 places). Probably means there are hundreds of thousands or even millions of places in the world.
