Duplicates in 'All Mail' and Important ? I've seen that happen, but didn't pay attention to the message count.

I do not have, nor can I remember ever having an 'All Mail' and 'Important' folder. Searching in the TB help information, it seems as if it may be related to IMAP mail servers - my connection is via pop3. Some entries about 'All Mail' also seem to relate it to gmail, but gmail is not my mail provider; I use online.no, a mail service run by the Norwegian phone company.
Any further proposals?

I have searched each and every mail folder, including Trash/spam folders. (Also: Thunderbird displays the number of unread messages in all folders; I see the spam count since last cleanup.)
I noticed that in C:App\users\<username>\AppData\Local\Thunderbird\Profiles\<profileid>\cache2\entries\ there are a few hundred files, mostly with binary/encrypted data, but some parts are readable text. A fair share of these, roughly 1 in 4 files, contains a (long) line starting with "content-security-policy: script-src https://ssl.google-analytics.com/ga.js ..." This strengthens my suspicion that some sort of monitoring / spying is going on.
I do no consider Google Analytics to represent my security concerns! Quite to the opposite. Google is more like securing profits, or possibly helping the authorities being secure against people with non-PC thoughts. (Eric Blair has some hints and tips on how to do that.)

Have any of you noticed this "skip to main content" feature in your browser shown in this snapshot[^].?
I absolutely hate it. I'm running Brave (chrome-based) and the latest release includes this so that it can help you get to the main content, but it does not work properly and it's just something else annoying that you have to click so you can see the content. It makes no sense at all.
It's a Genius-Feature, by half!
On the example page above it moves me to the first sentence of the article, but I was already sitting on the first sentence of the article.
I've tried to discover how to turn it off but it looks like there is no way to turn it off.
I seriously can't believe this is a "feature". This is the functional equivalent of the <blink> tag. Remember that gem?

What version of Brave are you using, what platform?
I'm tapping this into Brave 1.65.122 on Android and I use
Brave* on Ubuntu as my main desktop browser.
I've never seen the thing you describe.
* can't look it up right now, whatever the latest stable release is on Ubuntu 22.04LTS.

First of all, I fixed the link so you can see the example snapshot[^].
Also, I'm running on Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS and running Brave version 1.65.123 Chromium: 124.0.6367.91 (Official Build) (64-bit)
I've also noticed that this feature only shows up "sometimes". But when it does it's really annoying.

Long time ago I received some basic training about C in short community college class.
The teacher made references to "ANSI C ".
Just run into very confusing documentation while trying to
detect standard window "close" AKA " click X" icon..
Mixture of event / receiver / default implementation /re implementation.

No, It is an ISO (International Standards Organization) C++ standard. I think ANSI (American National Standard Institute) stopped producing C/C++ standards some time ago. Now they are all ISO standards.

Sorry to disagree with you, but you see, I'm an atheist so for me the world is not structured in terms of a fight between good and evil. For me it is a fight between humans and jerks and I cannot behave in a jerkish way because than, they have won. So I have to remain polite and helpful even in face of rudeness and aggressiveness. The hope is that the other one will realize there is a higher road and will take it. (In most cases it doesn't happen - I'm not delusional  ).

Real talk though, not sure how many narcissists you ever met... if none you're lucky dude.  But uh, I promise you peeps like this dude will walk all over you with that philosophy. Life's about balance, that way of thinking is admirable... when it's deserved. Not when it's abused.

It is not anyone's fault; but you really need to spend a bit more time thinking before you post. Almost every question you post here, in the forums, or QA, could be at least partially answered by doing a bit of reading/research first. Maybe then your questions would actually gain you the sort of response you seem to believe you are entitled to.

You're free to start a web site (elsewhere of course) of whatever flavour you choose.
People winge here about Windows issues, so I'm not sure why Ubuntu/Linux issues shouldn't get a winge or two as well. Maybe just mark your post in the Lounge as a Rant, as long as your post is a rant, wherein you vent your spleen on whatever horror you're expected to deal with. E.G. "Last update removed 'Focus Follows Mouse' and I'm steamed about it" or some such.
Of course, your issue may not be a Ubuntu issue so much as a difficulty groking something from the Ubuntu/Linux mindset. Someone might be able to help you with that, or point you to a path of enlightenment.
Depending on the issue to hand, maybe a post in "Weird and Wonderful", might be appropriate?
There's always your blog, of course. As long as it's not outright advertising, and I assume it remains KSS, I think you can post whatever you like there. Not sure if anyone will see it, but maybe just posting something, somewhere would be cathartic and serve it's purpose.

my better half required emergency medical help.
It went OK, she has recovered.
Next day I open my Ubuntu and try to connect to my boombox,
Ubuntu Bluetooth manager listed both
EMT PC and my boombox.
Yes - Ubuntu Bluetooth "manager" does not bother to physicality check for Bluetooth device , just gets the list from some unknown database.
That was several Ubuntu releases ago and it still does it - list a device which no longer exists.
In addition - if the device does exists , it gets connected on boot, then promptly automatically disconnected and has to be removed with usual "are you sure ?" before it gets identified, and still not connected.
Apparently I am not the only one impressed with Ubuntu Bluetooth -
somebody referred to Ubuntu Bluetooth implementation as
"rabbit hole"...
